Vintage Radio Shack PRO-82 Scanner Receiver, For PARTS or REPAIR, Free Shipping! Hello, fellow AV-types! Today for your consideration we have a very cool old handheld scanner that, sadly, does not work. This is an older Radio Shack PRO-82 Scanner Receiver. I was really excited when I came across this, but I've tried it with batteries and I'm afraid it does not power on. No idea why. I wanted to try testing it with an AC adapter, but do not have an appropriate adapter to try out. Please note that, as I can not get this to work, this listing is AS-IS with No Returns. If you're a handy person you may be able to fix this. I've learned my lesson about taking apart electronics that don't have an obvious mechanical issue, but you may be handier than I am. If you can fix it, this has a 200 channel memory. It would receive Maritime, FD/PD, Airport, HAM, and WX (weather band). Which makes it a very cool little machine.if it worked.
